Responsibilities include extending ID-platform functionality and designing and implementing data-integration architecture with connected systems. The engineer provides technical leadership across build, maintenance, and operational phases, working with the CTO and engineering leaders on an ID-platform initiative that supports multiple products.
Required experience includes three years of backend development using Java and the Spring framework. Preferred experience includes Auth0, AWS infrastructure operations, ECS, Aurora, DynamoDB, NoSQL, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Vue, Angular, modernization or re-architecture of existing systems, and requirements definition or specification documentation.
This is a full-time position based in Shinagawa, Tokyo. The company uses a flextime system with core hours of 10:00 to 16:00. Hybrid work combines working from home with at least three office days per week, subject to assignment exceptions.
