Lead the Akerun application-layer development organization for web and mobile products. Set and execute feature roadmaps that improve corporate-customer convenience, reduce churn, support multi-site expansion, and connect development to SaaS metrics including LTV and churn rate. Direct Akerun API integrations with external HR and labor SaaS, reservation and payment systems, and coworking-management software. Incorporate requirements from Sales and Customer Success, including enterprise access-control, security, and attendance-management needs, into broadly usable application features.
Build a foundation to collect and analyze in-app user-behavior logs and device communication-performance data, including BLE connection outcomes and processing speed. Combine these with backend entry and exit data to identify and resolve UX failures. Oversee web frontend and iOS/Android architecture, UX, stability, quality, and development velocity. Build the engineering organization through hiring, development, and evaluation systems.
Requires three or more years of frontend web/mobile development and team-management experience in B2B SaaS or large-scale web services, experience leading development with PdM or business leaders using KPIs, and the ability to define metrics and lead measurement-tool selection and introduction. The full-time role is in Minato, Tokyo; remote work is available but fully remote work is not offered, and office attendance is generally once weekly. Working hours are 9:30–18:30 with a one-hour break under a discretionary work system.
