AI Solutions Engineer

This AI Solutions Engineer works on customer problems involving technical drawings. The role gathers requirements directly from customers and takes solutions from design and implementation through introduction and operation. Work goes beyond structuring drawings to include automatic detection of design changes between drawings and the design and construction of knowledge graphs from structured data.

The engineer evaluates features and solutions created in customer projects, leads implementation of suitable technologies in the product, and generalizes customer-specific implementations into reusable drawing-structuring technology. Ongoing work includes improving algorithms, testing new methods, and handing off or sharing research themes with engineers responsible for general-purpose algorithms.

The position is part of the SAT Division, which has 20 business-side members and 30 technology-side members. The company operates the manufacturing-focused Aconnect AI agent as a SaaS business and SAT, an AI implementation-support platform, as a PaaS business. The role addresses customer projects in the drawing domain and contributes to turning project-specific solutions into product capabilities.

The named development environment includes TypeScript, Vue.js, Node.js, Python, Docker, Terraform, AWS and Azure. The work involves customer requirements definition, solution design, implementation, productization, generalization and related development. The stated scope may change to development-related work.

The work location is the head office or a home or other place where remote work can be performed. Full remote work is available and the standard arrangement is full remote. Residence must be in Japan; full remote work while residing overseas is not permitted. Residents within the company’s commuting area in the Tokyo metropolitan region may freely combine remote work and office attendance without a frequency limit. Residents outside that area may voluntarily attend the head office once a month. No salary, employment type, education requirement, experience threshold or language requirement is stated.
