Work with existing and prospective clients to develop investment strategies and research using the Python-based BQuant quantitative platform. Collaborate with Sales to create tactical desktop applications that support Bloomberg Terminal sales and improve customer workflows. Manage development from client demonstrations and requirements gathering through prototyping, implementation, deployment and adoption. Assist clients with new strategies and migration projects, and work with product development and software engineering teams on BQuant platform improvements.
Requires 3 to 8 years of experience in financial services or at a financial technology company, experience developing financial models using Python, and experience with one or more asset classes, including equities, fixed income, commodities, or FX. Strong Japanese and English presentation and communication skills are required. Experience or qualifications in data science and cloud computing are preferred.
