New Graduate Software Engineer

Studist is hiring a new-graduate Software Engineer to work on Teachme Biz, its manual creation and sharing service, and to help build new businesses. The role also includes improving the technical platform and the development organisation itself.

The graduate develops Teachme Biz, supports new-business development, and builds and improves the technical base and the development system. The team suits people who want to turn what they learn into work quickly and grow as engineers, and who prefer solving problems with systems and code over relying on individuals.

Applicants need experience of developing alone or in a team, or some theme they have worked on with continuing interest (it need not be programming). Long-term internships or part-time work at web companies, leading a development team, and continuous improvement of development processes are preferred. The company looks for people who enjoy learning, thinking and creating, think deeply and test quickly, trust their team, and put customer value above any one method. It also wants people who like teamwork, understand the start-up scaling phase and are interested in developing in-house products.
