Security Consultant

Dwango's IT arm for the KADOKAWA Group is hiring a Security Consultant for technical analysis and research in the Information Security Management department. The department builds and runs the information security management system for the whole group and works to raise employee productivity and experience as well as security.

The consultant is involved in information security in general, centred on collecting, analysing and distributing security information, managing information assets and vulnerabilities, responding to security incidents, and running security education and awareness activities. The role takes part in carrying out the security roadmap and strengthening governance across the group, and in optimising the CSIRT and designing and running its services.

Applicants need experience in security incident response or vulnerability management and an understanding of information system configuration across networks, servers, applications and the cloud. Security qualifications such as the Registered Information Security Specialist, CISSP or privacy certifications are preferred. The team looks for people with ownership of their area, who bring others along, care about improving the whole team and can design security that suits the company's way of working.
