It sets organizational policies for logs, monitoring, configuration management, and audit trails; leads risk assessments and audit responses; and prepares security policies, operating rules, and standard design guidelines for adoption across the organization.
The architect also develops data and AI governance strategies, policies, and risk-assessment frameworks. Work includes reviewing access control, encryption, data masking, auditing, and monitoring for BigQuery and Agent Platform; defining approaches for confidentiality of GenAI input data, output validation, privacy, copyright, and security risks; and creating guardrails, standard templates, and developer documentation for development teams and data engineers.
Required experience includes organization-level cloud architecture, governance design, and operations in Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure; governance design and operations involving IAM, VPC, encryption, audit logs, and organizational policies; and hands-on design, construction, and operation of application or data platforms in cloud environments. Candidates need practical experience in cloud governance, information security, IT controls, or system risk management, as well as experience coordinating diverse stakeholders and documenting policies, architecture, standards, and operating rules clearly.
