Lead the development and improvement of the entire product as a Senior Engineer.
As Senior Engineer you will lead development and improvement of the short-film streaming platform SAMANSA, working across both backend and frontend rather than being confined to one area. You will identify issues from user feedback and usage data, design and execute improvement initiatives, and participate in technical strategy and decision-making, including development policy and process improvement. You will also support team members' growth and help improve development processes for efficiency and quality. Tech stack includes Ruby on Rails, Go, and Rust for backend; React (Next.js), Vue, and HTML/CSS for frontend; Flutter for mobile; AWS (GCP experience welcome) for infrastructure; and BigQuery for data analysis. Required: backend development experience in Ruby, Go, or Rust; API/DB design skills with performance and scalability in mind; frontend development experience in React or Vue with UX design awareness; experience improving services based on data such as user behavior analysis and hypothesis testing; ability to make fast decisions and execute under resource constraints; and strong communication skills with team members and management. Preferred: AWS or GCP infrastructure build/operations experience; mobile app development with Flutter; growth-hacking experience such as A/B testing or funnel analysis; data analysis using BigQuery; startup or BtoC tech-lead experience; and development/communication experience in English for global expansion. Work is full-flextime with weekends off; at least two days per week on-site is requested regardless of employment type, though some departments/roles allow full remote work.
