Service Planning Director

Dwango (fan-community business including Niconico Channel, Niconico Channel Plus and 'sheeta'; 1.4M+ paid members combined) seeks a Service Planning Director to own overall direction — from requirements definition to release — for feature additions and improvements to its proprietary fan-community platform 'sheeta', a multi-function platform (video, live streaming, payments, mail magazines) offered to partners building their own fan clubs. Work: system requirements/specification (turning business requests into feasible requirements/specs with engineers, including non-functional); product process management (backlog prioritization, leading scrum teams from progress to release); building business flows and operation models; stakeholder coordination (Niconico services, external partners); and data-based improvement proposals (analyzing user behavior logs and payment figures to refine and prioritize the backlog). Required: 2+ years of requirements/specification experience in web-service or app system development (logical thinking and drive weighted over years). Preferred: cross-team collaboration; interest in video streaming and large-scale web services; billing/payment-system development direction or operation; data-based improvement; engineering experience; entertainment-business interest.
