BP Castrol Japan

Automotive Lubricants · Shinagawa, Tokyo

BP Castrol Japan plans, develops, manufactures, imports and sells automotive lubricants in Japan under the Castrol and BP brands. It was formed in 2005 by the merger of Petrolub International and BP Japan Lubricants and is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market. Its consumer range includes Castrol engine oils and the BP Vervis, Vervis sport and mini series.

For professional customers it sells Castrol oil to Japanese-brand car dealers with support for their oil business, and to imported-car dealers through technical partnerships with makers such as Volvo, Jaguar and Land Rover. BP oil is sold to certified and designated maintenance workshops across Japan as an oil certified by the national maintenance-trade association.
