Chori, founded in 1861 as a raw silk wholesaler, is a trading company with head offices in Osaka and Minato, Tokyo. Its textile business covers the whole chain from raw materials to weaving, knitting, dyeing and sewing: synthetic and recycled yarns such as ECO BLUE, fabrics such as AIR CONCEPT and the waterproof ZAMZA, nonwovens and garments.
Its chemicals business imports and exports urethane raw materials, resins including biodegradable grades, coating and cosmetic ingredients, inorganic and battery materials, and pharmaceutical and agrochemical intermediates, plus food, feed and fertilizer raw materials. It had 1,444 consolidated employees as of March 31, 2026.
