Sanyo Shokai plans, manufactures and sells apparel, keeping design, patterns, prototypes, production management, advertising and sales in-house. Its brands include SANYOCOAT, EPOCA, MACKINTOSH LONDON, MACKINTOSH PHILOSOPHY, Paul Stuart and BLUE LABEL and BLACK LABEL CRESTBRIDGE. It had 1,125 consolidated employees on 28 February 2026.
Its subsidiary Sanyo Sewing runs factories in Aomori and Fukushima, which work with the planning and technical teams on research and development. Sales run mainly through department stores, plus directly operated shops, outlets and the SANYO ONLINE STORE. Fashion advisors in each store serve customers and pass their feedback to product planning.
