TACHI-S develops and manufactures automotive seats and seat parts for vehicle makers including Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi Motors, Toyota and Hino. A seat combines around 200 or more parts, including frame, mechanism, urethane, trim, resin and electrical parts, designed for safe and comfortable driving.
Group operations manufacture seating components: TF-METAL supplies mechanical parts, and Nui Tec makes seat, armrest and headrest covers. TACHI-S H&P handles automotive parts, medical-related products and special vehicles. Seat development also covers occupant protection, including the role of headrests in protecting the head and neck during a collision.
