This is an on-site Data Center / Server Engineer role with Amazon Data Services Japan G.K., part of AWS Infrastructure Services, based in Tokyo. As a member of the Data Center Operations team, the engineer is responsible for the on-site management of the IT infrastructure hardware lifecycle. Day-to-day work includes maintaining and upkeeping data center infrastructure, installing and removing server racks, repairing servers and other IT hardware and networking equipment, and responding to emergencies that affect operations. The engineer acts as a first point of contact for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues while adhering to customer service-level agreements.
