The engineer integrates with other MiiTel microservices and uses real-time and stored data. Work includes developing a Copilot that answers customer questions using MiiTel data, Salesforce, web-search results, and other external data; and building real-time talk assistance that presents necessary information and advice during conversations. The role also designs and operates highly available, scalable real-time data-processing infrastructure, reliable data pipelines, and AI-agent functions, while leading technical product development with PdMs, designers, and PMMs.
Required qualifications include three or more years of distributed-systems development on cloud platforms, particularly AWS; deep practical knowledge of a development language; architecture and technology-selection experience; infrastructure-as-code experience such as Terraform; and performance tuning and troubleshooting experience. The environment includes Python, TypeScript, Django, FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, AWS, Docker, GitHub, Slack, and Notion. Full remote work is available from locations where information security can be maintained. The role uses a flextime system with no core hours.
