Corporate Engineer

A corporate engineer role in the information-systems function of a financial holdings group whose mission is to design the finance of tomorrow, unifying group management strategy and corporate functions. The role leads the build-out, management and operation of internal infrastructure and drives company-wide DX. Because internal information systems are used across all departments, improving operations is highly valued; applying IT governance while building an information-driven IS strategy influences all officers and employees. The mission covers improving organizational efficiency and DX through internal IT, strengthening information security, supporting and improving the internal IT environment, and raising overall productivity. Specific work includes building and operating internal infrastructure, strategy planning and execution for strengthening the information-security posture, executing internal IT projects (progress and budget management, project leadership, cross-departmental communication), internal IT support operations (help-desk management, IT-equipment and ID management), and team problem-solving and process improvement including DX projects.
