Data Scientist

PrimeNumber, whose in-house products TROCCO and COMETA support more than 2,500 companies, is hiring a Data Scientist as the first dedicated member of its data science function. The work does not stop at analysis and visualization: it runs through implementation in the customer's operations, prediction, optimization, anomaly detection and LLM-based decision support.

On customer projects the data scientist works with consultants, engineers and project managers from problem definition to production deployment, using ML and LLMs to solve root business problems and structuring patterns that recur across customers. The person also turns field findings into reusable AI solutions and products, including R&D on RAG and agent design through PoC to commercialization, and designs the technical standards, culture and future shape of the data science organization. Because the products reduce data-preparation load, the scientist can define the problems and start from the most valuable questions, mainly in manufacturing, retail, distribution and finance.

No formal qualification list is given. The role calls for ownership from problem definition to results and the ability to feed field insight back into products.
