Money Forward is hiring an IAM Engineer for the ID Platform Group of its Business Platform Development division. The group builds and runs Money Forward ID and EIAM, the authentication and authorization platform behind more than 30 products across the group, a large distributed system serving tens of millions of requests a day.
The engineer designs and implements the ID platform and a next-generation multi-tenant management platform, and advises and leads engineering teams as the platform is rolled out to group companies and tenants migrate. Duties include development and maintenance of Money Forward ID (an OIDC-compliant identity provider), consulting for products in the group, leading ID integration and migration, adopting technologies such as passkeys, and strengthening security. The main languages are Ruby and Kotlin.
Applicants need experience with authentication systems or identity providers (OIDC, OAuth, SAML, SSO, SCIM), deep experience with Kotlin or Ruby, database design, seven or more years in web application development and a technical degree. They must be able to work from the Tokyo office at least twice a week. English at TOEIC 700 or above is required; Japanese is not required.
