The role develops and operates ML models for personalized advertising delivery, including optimization of content and timing, customer lifetime value prediction, multichannel customer modeling, segmentation, and insight extraction from delivery results.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing rule-based, machine-learning, and deep-learning recommendation engines; leading customer behavior analysis using clustering; and cleansing, preprocessing, validating, and exploring large structured and unstructured datasets. The role defines business KPIs and proposes them to internal sales and customer success teams and client marketing staff.
The position continuously evaluates models through validation and error analysis, improves model architectures and features, and manages production-level code repositories with GitHub, version control, and documentation. It also researches and implements deep learning, NLP, LLMs, and generative AI while considering data privacy and AI ethics. The role is expected to lead the ML lifecycle and mentor junior members.
Work is hybrid in either Tokyo or Osaka, with office attendance recommended once per week. Flextime is listed.
