Platform Engineer

The Platform Engineer joins Mujin’s Engineering Enablement team, building internal software that helps engineers develop, test, release, and support software. The role improves developer experience across the organization through software development for internal users, rather than focusing primarily on infrastructure operations. Work includes designing and improving services, command-line tools, and automation for CI/CD, build tooling, release workflows, documentation, log collection, and internal support. The engineer contributes to new tools and existing systems, including tooling for containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes, and may work across Rust, Go, and Python. Applicants need at least three years of professional software engineering experience; hands-on experience designing and building software services, command-line or developer tools, or internal engineering systems; and professional programming experience in at least one general-purpose language, such as Rust, Go, Python, C++, or a comparable language. The role also requires experience across multiple technical areas or system layers, understanding workflows such as CI/CD, build systems, testing, deployment, or releases, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and understand internal users’ needs.
