Product Deployment Engineer

About this role

This role serves as a Technical Solutions Consultant for major advertising clients and product partners. The person manages technical relationships, balances partner needs with technical constraints, and oversees the technical delivery and business operations of online advertising platforms and product partnerships.

Day-to-day work includes collaborating with Engineering, Sales, Product Management, developers, users, clients, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include helping build and maintain stakeholder relationships, delivering and managing technical solutions and services, and supporting customers and partners. The role verifies the functionality of developer product features and provides feedback to product and engineering teams to improve the developer experience.

The position creates Product Requirement Documents to capture product specifications and validates those documents to ensure that customer, partner, and internal needs are addressed. It also helps scale existing solutions and develop repeatable solutions, such as best-practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code, while ensuring that the resulting documentation is effective. The person may write solution code with internal or external developers, users, partners, clients, and stakeholders. The role also involves concept design and testing, data analysis, support, building tools, automating products, developing product strategy, and prioritizing projects and resources.

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience and at least three years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal or external partners or customers. Candidates must have experience in system design or reading code, with Java, C++, and Python named as examples.

Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field. Preferred experience includes five years managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies; five years of data analysis and SQL/MySQL; five years in a customer-facing role; five years working with Unix or Linux operating systems or commands; and five years in operations management, including process improvement, operational reviews, and workflow optimization.
