QA Engineer

This QA Engineer role at Studist (maker of the Teachme Biz manual-creation SaaS) focuses on strengthening the QA organization. Responsibilities include participating in organizational design for QA, reviewing and giving feedback on requirements and specifications, maintaining and continuously improving quality-assurance processes, and handling the full testing lifecycle from test planning through completion. Candidates should be interested in either building out the QA organization or being involved in quality management for the company's own SaaS products. Required skills/experience: testing experience with web services or smartphone apps, QA experience within Agile/Scrum development, JSTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or equivalent knowledge/experience, and the ability to communicate smoothly with stakeholders. Preferred: knowledge/experience with SaaS product development, JSTQB Advanced Level certification, and experience identifying and resolving quality/process issues. Employment type is full-time, with an annual salary of 4,500,000 to 13,000,000 JPY set according to skills, ability, and experience under company policy (no change during the 3-month probation period). Work hours are 10:00-19:00 under a flextime system with core hours 11:00-16:00. The office is in Kanda-Nishikicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
