Build and maintain Salesforce applications with Apex, LWC, Triggers, and flows, covering requirements through operations, external integrations, stakeholder coordination, and manager-approved remote work.
This full-time position is part of the Salesforce division within the Marketing DX department. Depending on experience, preferences, and suitability, the role is assigned to either the Core area, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Agentforce, or the Marketing Cloud area, which supports marketing initiatives and customer communications.
The work covers the full application lifecycle, from requirements definition and system design through development, testing, release, and operations. Responsibilities include Salesforce customisation using Apex, LWC, Triggers, and flows; designing and implementing data integrations with external systems; planning and driving maintenance and additional development for existing environments; coordinating internal and external stakeholders; managing progress; and conducting reviews.
The required background is experience designing and developing applications with Salesforce, together with practical experience in customisation development using Apex, LWC, Triggers, or flows. Interest or knowledge in marketing, such as customer segmentation, campaign planning, or communication design, is welcomed. Interest or knowledge in using generative AI or machine learning for operational improvement or product development is also welcomed.
The department combines consulting, data and AI, and engineering to support client marketing and customer-experience transformation. The Salesforce division works across both Core and Marketing Cloud projects, and the initial team assignment is not fixed permanently; future opportunities may include projects with other Marketing DX businesses.
The position is based at the Shibuya office in Tokyo. Working hours are 9:00 to 18:00, with eight working hours and a one-hour break. Working hours may be discussed, and flextime and reduced-hours systems are available to eligible employees with manager approval. Remote work is available with manager approval. The employment is as a regular employee with a three-month probationary period.
The stated annual salary range is JPY 6,000,000 to JPY 10,000,000, with the monthly salary shown as JPY 500,000 to JPY 833,000 including 45 hours of fixed overtime. Overtime exceeding that amount is paid separately. Salary is determined with consideration for current compensation, ability, and experience. Evaluation, promotion, and salary reviews take place twice a year, and performance-based incentives are available twice a year.
Annual holidays total 122 days under the company calendar. The schedule includes a five-day workweek, weekends and public holidays off, and a year-end and New Year holiday from December 31 through January 3. Benefits include paid and special leave, transportation costs, health checks, qualification support, access to more than 57 Track Training courses, use of MANA Studio, company-provided computers and phones, and social insurance. English-language support for matters such as visas is also provided.
The selection process consists of document screening, approximately three to four online interviews or meetings, a final interview with the representative at the Shibuya office, an offer, and an offer discussion. The process takes approximately one month and includes an ability and aptitude test and an IT literacy test using the company’s Track tool.
