Security Engineer

A Security Engineer role in the security & IT unit (within the corporate-strategy department) of a small-SAR-satellite company (one of only a few globally, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth market in 2024, with many government collaborations). The unit centers on company-wide information-security work plus internal information-systems management, protecting and supporting the whole company. Responsibilities include information-security management operation based on ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST SP800 (risk assessment, documentation, obtaining approvals, stakeholder coordination, internal audits, external audit/assessment response, incident response/reporting/remediation) and information-security support (configuring and operating internal/external IT systems, documentation, investigation; cloud and network parameter tuning, baseline analysis by guideline, vulnerability investigation, researching new security technologies). Required: information-security expertise, experience developing/operating security rules per government/customer/internal requirements, and business-level Japanese and English reading/writing and conversation.
