Its core operations cover property and casualty insurance, including motor, home and liability cover, as well as life, health, protection, savings and retirement products. In Japan, AXA Life and AXA Direct provide life and general insurance through the group’s local holding-company structure.

It completed the sale of AXA Investment Managers to BNP Paribas in July 2025, although its official business overview continues to identify asset management among its activities.
