Koito Manufacturing, founded in 1915, manufactures and sells automotive lighting equipment, aircraft parts, electrical equipment and other products. Its automotive range covers LED and halogen headlamps, fog lamps, LED rear combination lamps, high-mounted stop lamps and side turn signal lamps, and it also supplies lighting for railroads, aircraft and ships.
Its headlamp technology includes Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) systems, which use a camera and sensors to keep the high beam on while avoiding glare for vehicles ahead, and BladeScan ADB, which shines LED light onto rotating blade mirrors.
