PowerX is a Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed Japanese energy technology company that develops and manufactures battery energy storage systems. Its Mega Power and PowerX Cube products serve grid-scale, renewable-energy, industrial and commercial sites, while Hypercharger ultra-fast EV chargers and charging services support EV drivers and businesses.
It reports three businesses: storage systems, EV charging and electricity supply, the last including battery-based power supply and storage-facility operation. Batteries are made at its Power Base factory in Okayama. PowerX also lists modular data-center products, including Mega Power DC, as available from 2027.
