Riken Technos makes plastic compounds by mixing base resins with additives that give properties such as flame resistance, electrical conductivity or low friction. Products include flexible and rigid PVC compounds, thermoplastic elastomers and conductive and biomass compounds, used in automobiles, home appliances, medical supplies, building materials and industrial components.
Its films serve building decoration, advertising, steel plates, windows, cars, medical supplies and optical or semiconductor uses. The food-packaging business makes PVC wraps under the RIKEN WRAP and HI-WRAP brands, polyolefin and heat-resistant wraps, and related items such as cooking sheets, plastic bags, cooking paper and gloves. The group had 1,877 consolidated employees as of March 31, 2026.
