Unitika manufactures nylon films for food packaging, including its EMBLEM range and gas-barrier grades. Industrial films include UNIPEEL polyester release films and heat-resistant UNI-AMIDE films. Its engineering plastics include nylon and U-Polymer polyarylate resins for automotive and electrical or electronic components.
Other operations manufacture glass-fiber fabrics used in printed circuit boards, with weaving and surface-treatment processes. The group also supplies glass beads, activated-carbon products and advanced monofilaments.
