SkyDrive is a Japanese advanced-air-mobility company developing the compact, electric SKYDRIVE SD-05 vertical-takeoff-and-landing aircraft for air-taxi and other short-distance transport operators. It also offers SkyLift cargo drones for utility, construction and other remote worksites; SkyLift carries up to 30 kg and is provided by subscription with support and insurance.
The company is preparing the SD-05 for certification and commercial production, with prospective revenue from aircraft sales. It demonstrated the aircraft at Expo 2025 Osaka and in January 2026 agreed with SASMOS on wiring-system design, prototyping, certification support and production readiness. Revenue is not publicly disclosed.
