SkyDrive is a Japanese advanced-air-mobility company, founded in July 2018, that develops, manufactures, sells and operates flying vehicles (eVTOL). Its compact, electric SKYDRIVE SD-05 aircraft is aimed at air-taxi and other short-distance transport operators, and it has a head office in Toyota, Aichi and a Tokyo head office.
The company demonstrated the aircraft at Expo 2025 Osaka and aims for full-scale commercialization by 2028. In January 2026 it reached a general understanding with AeroGulf Services on the potential purchase of 20 aircraft, with deliveries from 2028, and agreed with SASMOS on wiring-system design, prototyping and certification support. Revenue is not publicly disclosed.
