UMITRON is a deeptech company based in Singapore and Japan that applies IoT, satellite remote sensing and machine learning to aquaculture. Its first solution is a smart feeding system powered by AI and IoT, which aims to cut feeding, described as the largest cost for aquafarmers, through real-time fish appetite detection and analysis of fish school behavior.
UMITRON also offers an aquaculture production and cost management service and an ocean data service for aquaculture, and runs a blue carbon project that combines its technologies. The Tokyo entity is in Shinagawa, and the company was established in April 2016 by three co-founders. Pricing and revenue are not published on its website.
