About this role

SpeakBUDDY operates the BtoC AI English-conversation app used by over 5 million people, alongside a growing corporate business offering the same service for language training and employee benefits. This is a dedicated business development role on a new venture project reporting directly to the CEO, working alongside the CGO (Chief Growth Officer) as project lead, a Product Manager, and a VP of Corporate Business who advises from a business and customer perspective. Responsibilities include selecting and approaching target corporate clients through outbound outreach, pitching early-stage product and service concepts, and validating hypotheses based on customer reactions; interviewing subject-matter experts to sharpen understanding of problems and potential solutions and organizing findings for executive decision-making; and structuring gathered insights and executive discussions into materials that support team decision-making, as well as preparing proposal materials for clients. The role covers the full exploration process from customer understanding through hypothesis validation, proof of concept, and pivot decisions. Full-time position; no prior experience required.
