Responsibilities include full ownership of financial management: monthly and annual account closing, cash-flow statements and cash-flow tables, building financial models that translate the CEO's business plans (subscriber growth, overseas expansion) into P&L/balance-sheet/cash-flow projections, leading investor relations and capital-raising strategy, designing internal financial processes and controls to support global expansion, and advising management on resource allocation to maximize growth.
Required: end-to-end hands-on accounting/finance experience, from monthly/annual closing through cash-flow management, plus strong Excel/spreadsheet financial-modeling skills and the ability to build finance processes from scratch in a fast-moving startup with no established manuals.
Preferred: experience managing fundraising projects, preparing investor pitch materials or supporting due diligence, familiarity with subscription/entertainment business models, unit-economics (LTV/CAC) and churn analysis experience, and CPA/tax-accountant/SME-consultant qualifications or equivalent practical expertise.
Full-time, full flextime hours, weekends off, at least two in-office days per week (some roles/departments allow full remote); other employment types (intern, contract) may also be arranged.
