This role covers embedded software development for the onboard vehicle systems: designing and developing the autonomous-driving and remote-operation systems, embedded system design and development, IoT systems that interface with web systems, and software testing, debugging, and performance optimization, plus creating and maintaining technical documentation. Required: development experience with ROS/ROS2, Python, and C++; knowledge of communication protocols such as HTTP, WebSocket, MQTT, and WebRTC; experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines; and familiarity with software development best practices. Preferred: web application development experience, strong problem-solving ability, teamwork and communication skills, English communication skills, and hands-on experience with autonomous-driving or remote systems. Full-time position based in Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo, under a discretionary working-hours system (deemed 10 hours/day), with hybrid work requiring roughly two office days per week. 128 annual holidays; two-month trial period.
