First-Class Building Construction Management Engineer

This full-time role manages construction projects and supervises worksites for large-scale building and facilities projects. Responsibilities include construction management, on-site supervision, handling the receipt and completion of project documents, directing partner contractors, and managing industrial-waste manifests. Office-based work includes preparing estimates and carrying out construction management, while site supervision and on-the-job training may require travel to locations throughout Japan.

A First-Class Building Construction Management Engineer qualification is required. Experience working in construction management or as a site supervisor is welcomed. The posting also seeks candidates who can travel to sites nationwide, build effective relationships with clients and partner contractors, and make accurate decisions and give appropriate instructions in different situations.

After joining, the employee will accompany a construction manager for training. The posting states that responsibility for projects is expected to be assigned after approximately two months, with continuing support from the team.

The role is based at an office in Oi, Shinagawa, Tokyo. Working conditions include a flextime system without core hours, a standard working time of 7 hours and 30 minutes per day, a 60-minute break, and an example schedule of 9:30 to 18:00. Annual holidays total 125 days, with Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays off. Leave includes annual paid leave, a five-day summer break available consecutively between July and October, year-end and New Year leave from December 30 to January 4, refresh leave every three years, bereavement leave, parental and caregiving leave, child-care and nursing leave, and shortened working hours for child-care and caregiving.

The stated annual salary range is 7,000,000 to 10,000,000 JPY. One fourteenth of the annual salary is paid monthly, with an additional one-fourteenth paid in June and December. Annual salary is reviewed once a year in November, and the monthly amount includes deemed pay for 25 hours of work; excess hours are paid separately.
