Build AI/ML solutions for patient and healthcare operations, covering technical validation, model design, product integration, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement.
About this role
This role leads frontend development and, when needed, backend development across Linc'well products. Responsibilities include designing product architectures, leading technology selection, sharing technical decisions with the team, and improving the full feature-development process from implementation and test code through code review and release. The engineer also collaborates with operational teams and stakeholders to improve service experiences.
The role focuses on one of two areas. The clinic-system renewal team is migrating a web application used daily by clinic staff to a modern React-based architecture while resolving existing design debt. The online-care system team continuously improves the web frontend used by patients, working with product managers and designers to turn better user experiences into frontend implementations across diverse medical departments and use cases.
Products support online medical care for both insured and self-paid treatment and cover a wide range of medical departments. The broader healthcare platform connects medical professionals and patients or users through online and offline services, including online-care systems, clinic digital-transformation support, and healthcare e-commerce.
Product teams are cross-functional groups of product managers, designers, engineers, and QA members. Development uses one-week agile sprints. Communication includes asynchronous Slack communication, Slack Huddles, Google Meet, and the gather virtual office.
The development environment includes TypeScript, React, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Next.js, Dart, Flutter, and GraphQL. Infrastructure and monitoring use AWS, including ECS Fargate, CloudFront, and Lambda, as well as GCP and BigQuery for data analysis, and Datadog. The database is PostgreSQL. CI/CD and related tools include CircleCI, Autify, AWS CodePipeline, and GitHub Actions. Terraform is used for infrastructure as code; data and design tools include metabase, Amplitude, and Figma. Source-code management uses GitHub, communication uses Slack, information sharing uses Notion, and AI tools include GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code.
The position is fully remote. The work includes collaboration with medical professionals such as doctors, nurses, medical office staff, and pharmacists, and may include visiting medical sites to conduct direct interviews.
