Lead product development in the marketing domain, focusing on software and data to enhance customer value and support the growth of the engineering organization.
About this role
The GTM Engineer will join the GTM Engineering Team in the Product and Technology Division. The role works closely with sales, marketing, customer success, data-related teams, and business leadership to identify operational bottlenecks and build systems that deliver useful customer information to sales at the right time.
Day-to-day work includes developing GTM workflows and producing prototypes in one- to two-week cycles. Examples include automated target-list generation, personalized outreach, pre-meeting preparation support, and prioritization of calls and direct messages. The role also implements business uses of AI and LLMs, such as company research, email generation, classification, and summarization, while evaluating output quality and cost.
Successful solutions are abstracted into reusable components. The engineer will help connect CRM, marketing automation, and data warehouses through pipelines and internal tools, improve the data foundation, and connect customer demand signals to sales actions. Responsibilities also include designing data structures and KPIs to measure which signals and initiatives contribute to opportunities and orders, then operating a feedback loop. Data quality, access control, human-in-the-loop processes, and documentation are used to support safe, repeatable operations.
Required experience includes at least approximately three years of practical development experience with web applications or data pipelines, practical experience extracting and transforming data with SQL, and experience understanding business, sales, or marketing KPIs and quantitatively evaluating and improving implemented initiatives. The candidate must be able to conduct interviews and turn unclear problems into requirements and implementations, prototype quickly without waiting for perfect requirements, and either have experience incorporating LLMs into work or demonstrate strong independent learning in this area. The role also requires the ability to collaborate with stakeholders ranging from sales teams to business leadership.
Preferred experience includes data design and integrations for Salesforce, HubSpot, or marketing automation tools; data warehouses such as BigQuery; dbt; ETL or reverse ETL tools such as Fivetran and Hightouch; and automation or internal-tool development with Clay, n8n, Zapier, or Retool. Experience in enablement, business-process design, SalesOps or RevOps, A/B testing, impact measurement, applying machine-learning models, full-stack development, or startup and rapidly changing environments is also welcomed.
