AI Full-Stack Engineer

This role designs and implements AI agents that automate operational workflows for food manufacturers and wholesalers. Responsibilities span frontend, backend, and AI infrastructure, with work covering the selection and fine-tuning of AI-OCR models, design and operation of guardrails for LLM response quality, and construction of fault-tolerant business workflows using a Durable Workflow Engine.

The engineer also designs and develops an agent harness that supports a self-improving loop. Solutions are designed from interviews with pilot customers and implemented to reflect their actual business operations. The role covers the process from understanding customer workflow problems through solution design and delivery, including direct customer discussions.

The project addresses inefficiencies in food distribution, where Excel files, paper, fax, and verbal processes remain common. It uses AI-OCR, non-structured data pipelines, and durable workflows to interpret and structure non-structured information and make it usable for business automation. The project is a new initiative positioned directly under the CEO and is connected to the Kurashiru service and the development of Kurashiru AI OS for the consumer-goods sector, including food and daily necessities.

The development environment is intended to be AI-native, with AI coding tools used as a foundation. The named application stack is full-stack TypeScript with Bun, Hono, Elysia, and TanStack Start. The cloud technologies are AWS and Terraform, and Langfuse is named for LLM observability. The technology stack is provisional and may change.

The work location is in Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo, at the stated msb Tamachi address.
