This role builds and operates a data analytics platform centered on BigQuery, consolidating data from various services — including pricing data, access logs, and sales KPI data — that currently lives in MySQL (CloudSQL), NoSQL (Firebase), spreadsheets, and various Google Cloud/SaaS platforms. As the volume of data handled grows, the team is expanding headcount to build and operate systems for data utilization. Experience with BigQuery and ETL construction is preferred, but software engineers with service-development and SQL experience who want to learn BigQuery-centered data analytics platforms going forward are also welcome. Expected responsibilities: building and operating the data analytics platform (examples include access-log and ad-related KPI data, and Google Cloud application logs); building and operating an analytics platform for held pricing data; and building BI dashboards using Looker / Looker Studio. Employment is full-time, based at the Tokyo head office in Akasaka, Minato-ku, with an expected in-office attendance of about 2-3 days per week; the office is planned to relocate near Aoyama-itchome station around autumn 2026. Hiring process: document screening, casual interview, multiple interviews (3-4 rounds) plus reference check, then an offer interview.
