Tech Lead

ExaWizards (listed AI venture) seeks a Tech Lead for exaBase Studio, an AI development platform that lets people build AI software by combining internal/external AI models, services and data — aiming to move AI past the 'PoC dead end' into production and to democratize AI × business-app development via low-code/no-code. In the team owning the RAG templates used on exaBase Studio, you focus on development-roadmap creation and architecture design. Work: create the technical vision and roadmap for RAG templates and AI agents; design and implement architecture based on the mid-to-long-term AI-agent roadmap; design maintainable architecture for operations; investigate and improve RAG accuracy (search and security improvements); bridge to business members; and develop/tech-lead other members. Stack: Docker, Python, Next.js, various LLMs, AWS, GitHub, AWS CodeCatalyst; GitHub Actions, CDK. Required: 2+ years of development-lead experience at a venture/startup; microservices software design and system-architecture practice; full-stack understanding (backend-centric through frontend and infra); Node.js and Python; business-level Japanese (~N1). Preferred: web-service, cloud-infra and AI/ML development. Full-time, salary 9–12M JPY/yr, based in Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
