Integration Engineer

Yappli provides a mobile app platform whose customers increasingly need it linked smoothly to their own systems. The Integration Engineer builds the link between Yappli and customers' systems, such as external SaaS and CMS, handling data integration while also suggesting product improvements.

The engineer works with an in-house technical account manager to understand requirements, designs the system and estimates the work, then takes responsibility for implementation, integration testing, release and operational follow-up. Duties include server-side development in Go and PHP, internal communication on requirements and schedules, communication with partner and customer-side engineers, and proposals to improve quality and efficiency. Infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud is run with the site reliability team.

Applicants need three or more years of backend work on web services in any language, practical relational database table design, server operation on AWS or Google Cloud, and the ability to think and act for the customer's success. Technology decision-making in projects, Go or PHP (or Laravel or Rails) experience, project management and running high-load systems are preferred.
