This Platform Engineer will design, implement and operate shared foundations that enable AI agents and human engineers to develop products safely and continuously. The work covers more than individual authentication or billing components and addresses the growing complexity of multiple products and technical domains.
Responsibilities include establishing architecture governance for AI-driven code changes, including boundary design, type safety, schemas, ease of change and testable module structures. The engineer will select backend technologies, define development standards for AI-assisted collaboration, identify and resolve technical issues across products, and participate in technical decision-making.
The role will develop internal shared libraries, SDKs, scaffolding, code-generation systems and development conventions. It will improve the use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Devin and Cursor, while measuring and improving development productivity. The engineer will also provide technical support, reviews, and hands-on design and implementation guidance to product teams.
The position includes designing, implementing and operating common platform functions such as authentication, billing and feature flags.
