Product Engineer (DX)

This is a full-time product engineer role in Speee's real-industry DX division, which operates around ten businesses including real-estate valuation and sale services (Ieul, Sumai Step), land-use and property-investment comparison sites, a members-only home-search service (Housii), reform and elderly-care matching platforms (Nurikae, Caresul Kaigo), and newly launched SaaS services. New hires join the product team best suited to their first one-to-two years of growth. Teams are small (under ten people), typically one team per business, working in three-month development themes and emphasizing deep understanding of the business and ownership of shipping customer-facing features. Responsibilities include planning and defining requirements for new and improved features, designing, implementing, testing and reviewing API and frontend components, making architecture decisions and writing ADRs, and measuring and improving site and database performance. The team works as a small scrum team that stresses aligning on the WHY and WHAT between business members and engineers. The development stack includes TypeScript and Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React.js and Next.js, MySQL, GitHub and Git, plus AWS, Docker, Redis, GraphQL, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Datadog, Kubernetes, Firebase and BigQuery. Location is Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
