Security Specialist - Corporate Security

Money Forward is hiring a Security Specialist for corporate security at a new company formed with Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation to set up a digital bank for small businesses. The person is employed by Money Forward and seconded to the new company.

The specialist designs and builds the main internal security systems, including CASB, DLP, MDM and EDR, and designs and improves security for SaaS use, working with developers and IT staff to maintain and raise the security level. Duties include operating tools such as EDR, CASB and MDM, managing security risk for internal systems and external SaaS, building controls that follow security guidelines, responding to incidents, driving device security measures, and applying frameworks such as NIST CSF and CIS Benchmarks.

Applicants need a basic grounding in computer science, programming experience in any language, English for work, and hands-on experience building and running internal systems such as CASB, DLP, MDM, EDR and Entra ID. Native-level Japanese and business English around TOEIC 700 are required. CISSP-type certifications, OIDC and OAuth knowledge and financial-sector security experience are preferred.
