Belong, an Itochu in-house startup built on used smart devices, hires a Site Reliability Engineer to maintain and improve the availability, robustness and fault tolerance of its internal systems and customer-facing services. The engineer defines SLOs and SLAs with SLIs in mind and drives monitoring and alerting from setup through operation with leadership and initiative.
Responsibilities include running production environments for internal and external services, designing GitHub Actions workflows and building shared internal Actions, and defining and managing Google Cloud environments with Terraform. The engineer integrates through APIs with Google Cloud, GitHub, Atlassian and other development products and automates business processes. The engineer also helps software engineers deploy smoothly through automation of the shared platform, and uses a deep understanding of each Google Cloud product to design architectures with low failure risk and advise on proper use.
The team works hybrid, around two to three office days a week.
