AEON Financial Service provides credit cards, banking, retail finance and payment services in Japan and Asia. Its domestic products include AEON CARD SELECT, which combines credit-card, bank cash-card and WAON e-money functions in one card. The group also offers card-linked bank deposits and expands card acceptance with AEON Group stores and other merchants.
Overseas operations began in Hong Kong in 1987, and group companies listed in Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia provide credit cards, personal loans and installment finance. Examples include a co-branded card with Thai Airways and a card integrated with the Rabbit e-money system in Thailand, and motorcycle installment finance in Malaysia.
