Artisense was a computer-vision and sensor-fusion software company that developed camera-led positioning technology for robots, vehicles and spatial-intelligence applications. Its Direct Visual SLAM software enabled machines to estimate their location and map their surroundings, while integrated development kits paired the software with edge-computing hardware for customer product development.
Kudan acquired and integrated Artisense, completing the integration of its technology and organization in 2023. Artisense GmbH was renamed Kudan Germany GmbH in April 2024 and now serves as Kudan’s European operation; standalone Artisense revenue is not reported.
