Artisense was a computer-vision and sensor-fusion software company that developed camera-led positioning technology for robots, vehicles and spatial-intelligence applications. Its Direct Visual SLAM software enabled machines to estimate their location and map their surroundings, and a development kit paired it with NVIDIA Jetson edge hardware for customers building products.
Kudan acquired Artisense in 2020 and completed integrating its technology and organization in 2023. Artisense GmbH was renamed Kudan Germany GmbH in April 2024 and now serves as the centre of Kudan's European operations from Munich.
