Bizmates, Inc. operates Bizmates, an online English conversation service focused on business English, together with Zipan, online business Japanese lessons for foreigners, a coaching service and a learning app. Its talent business runs G Talent, a recruitment agency for global professionals including foreign IT engineers, and GitTap, a hiring matching site for global IT talent. It has a wholly owned subsidiary in the Philippines, Bizmates Philippines, Inc.
The company was founded in July 2012 by Nobuaki Suzuki and Hika Ito, both formerly of Berlitz Japan, and released the Bizmates service that November. It listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market in March 2023 (code 9345), moved its head office to Kanda-Sudacho, Chiyoda-ku in September 2024 and has a sales office in Osaka.
