PROGRIT Inc. runs PROGRIT, an English coaching service offered at studios and, since 2018, online. It also offers subscription learning apps for shadowing, speaking practice, AI conversation and vocabulary. Its studios are in central Tokyo, including Yurakucho, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro and Shinagawa, and in Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe.
The company was founded in Ginza in September 2016 as GRIT, launching the coaching service under the name TOKKUN ENGLISH, and adopted its current name in October 2019. It listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market in September 2022 (code 9560) and moved its head office to Hamamatsucho, Minato-ku in April 2025. In April 2026 English Company Inc., formerly StudyHacker, joined the group.
