Cyfuse Biomedical, founded in 2010, builds three-dimensional cell structures with its own bio-3D printing technology. It works in three areas: regenerative medicine products, 3D cell products that support drug discovery, and devices such as bio-3D printers. Revenue comes mainly from contract work on 3D cell products and sales of related consumables.
Its main regenerative medicine programs target peripheral nerve, osteochondral and blood-vessel regeneration, developed with universities, research institutes and partner companies with public support from AMED. For drug discovery, it develops and sells 3D cell products for pharmaceutical companies and non-clinical testing firms.
